Using "red vinegar rice", a tradition that has been handed down since the Edo period, we offer exquisite dishes using fresh fish directly shipped from fishing ports in the Seto Inland Sea. Especially in the Ryuzetsu OMAKASE [2025] course, every single piece of sushi is made with special care, even the sushi, which is made from carefully selected ingredients that are particular about freshness and quality. For example, you can enjoy seasonal seafood through dishes using a wide variety of tuna, tiger prawns, and sea urchin, such as Ootoro, Chutoro, and Akami. In addition, eggs made from fresh eggs born at the southern foot of Yatsugatake, which rises 1,050 meters above sea level, deliver a special flavor.

The restaurant features a luxurious counter seating area made of a single piece of cypress wood. From these counter seats, diners can enjoy a close-up view of the chefs as they consistently and wholeheartedly prepare their dishes. The walls are decorated with original Nishijin brocade with a motif of the "moon," which is also in the restaurant's name, creating a space with a high quality Japanese atmosphere. The moment you step into the restaurant, you will feel a dignified tension in the space, and enjoy a special moment as if you have entered a different world.
